The Seller and Purchaser Agree to the following conditions of this agreement

A. Breeder Guarantees that the cat being sold is a purebred Ragdoll cat/kitten with a pedigree and is eligible for registration with T.I.C.A.

B If the buyer transfers the Cat/Kitten to another owner, the buyer agrees to provide notice to seller and for seller to provide written approval of the transfer

C. Any representation by a seller regarding the kitten being a show or breed quality is an option and not a guarantee that the kitten will win in a show. Breeder advises buyer to examine the kitten in person to decide the quality of the kitten before the purchase.

D. If the Cat is purchased as a pet or show quality pet :

The buyer agrees to have the kitten altered at 5 months old for a male and 6 months old for a female. NO KITTEN SHOULD BE ALTERED BEFORE 5 MONTHS OLD. Buyer agrees that if the kitten is not altered before 7 months of age, seller has the right to take possession of the cat and place it back into the Dixon Mountain Ragdoll Cattery with no payment to the buyer. Transport of said cat is at buyers expense. If the buyer is found to be using said cat as a breeder a fine of $2,000 dollars will be due to the seller along with the return of the cat at the buyers expense. Buyer will also be responsible for all attorney fees incurred.
If the cat has produced kittens, all the kittens are the property of the seller. Any and all money received for the kittens, and/or items received for sale of the kitten will be forfeited immediately to the seller. Unless specifically noted in the paperwork this cat will NOT be bred for any reason, at any time. This kitten is sold as a PET ONLY unless noted in this contract.

The seller agrees to provide Buyer with a T.I.C.A. registration for the cat after he/she is altered before 7 months of age and written certification from a licensed vet to the seller. This certification must also provide the breed of cat, as well as the name, address, and phone number of vet for verification of altering.

E. They Buyer is responsible for ALL medical and shipping expenses associated with this Cat/Kitten IMMEDIATELY after the contract is signed.

F. They buyer agrees that the deposit amount is non-refundable, it may be transferred to another kitten ONE time as long as the transfer is done by at least 3 weeks before the shipping /pick up date. If another kitten is not chosen in this time frame the Buyer will have the opportunity to choose another kitten for one year from the date if sale, if no kitten is chosen then the deposit will be forfeited.

G. The Buyer understands and agrees that the Breeder/Seller has first pick of and all litters, and that breeder prospects will be placed first. Show prospects will be placed second, then pet quality kittens.

Seller agrees to provide a complete medical history and record of all vaccinations this kitten/cat has received along with the following health guarantee: The cat has a one year guarantee against fatal genetic and congenital defects FIP is not covered under this guarantee mainly due to the fact that it is highly controversial and can be passed on regardless of genes.

The cat has a 48 hour guarantee against any serious medical conditions once he/she leaves our home.

Buyer is advised to take the kitten/cat (at buyers expense) to a veterinarian for a complete health checkup within this period.
If the cat/kitten is found to have a serious medical condition buyer has 48 hours to notify seller.
After being furnished with a letter from a licensed veterinarian indicating why the kittens health condition is serious. We will take possession of the sick kitten and provide a replacement. If the seller has no kittens available then a kitten of equal value will be replaced out of the next litter. Seller is not obligated to replace with the exact same color or pattern.

If buyer fails to notify seller of said health problems within 48 hours after purchase then the buyer accepts the animal as is.
If a kitten is to die or have to be euthanized due to a congenital or genetic defect before it is one year old it will be replaced with a kitten of equal value provided that the seller is provided a copy of an autopsy. The autopsy report must be from a licensed veterinary pathologist, not the attending veterinarian stating that it is 100% genetic or congenital defect, not a chemical or environmental affect .
The seller will replace the cat with another as soon as reasonable practical. All cats will be replaced with another kitten of like kind and quality. Buyer is responsible for ALL medical and shipping costs when replacing a kitten. NO CASH REFUNDS.

The seller is not obligated to replaced a kitten for any reason, including future health problems, other than the stipulations state above in this contract.

Provided that all the terms of the health guarantee are followed:

It is recommended that you do not allow your rag doll kitten to be given a feline leukemia vaccination it poses to many risks.
This contract will be void of your rag doll kitten is given the feline Leukemia or FIP vaccine

The Cat/Kitten will have age appropriate core vaccinations at the time of delivery against Panleukopenia ( distemper), calcivirus and rhinotrachritis.

Each state has its own law governing the administration of the rabies vaccine. We recommend getting the kittens vaccinated for rabies at 4 months of age. The seller does not warranty the cat/kitten from any adverse reactions against all and any vaccinations, present and future.

Buyer also agrees to the following :

To provide adequate veterinary care and vaccinations.
To provide a clean environment for you kitten
To never allow cat to roam out doors.
Never place this cat in a laboratory or pet shop. If for any reason the buyer can not keep the purchased cat the seller has the 1st right to purchase the cat. If the cat is sold to someone else you must notify the seller in writing to who the cat is being transferred to and, received written consent from the seller

E. Do not de-claw your Kitten.

FEEDING: Your pet has been fed TASTE OF THE WILD FOOD. You can get it at any Tractor supply feed store. If you choose not to keep your pet on this food, you should mix the sample food you are given with the food of your choice, slowly changing the food. Ubrupt changes in food can upset your new kitten.
Seller will not be responsible for complications from incorrect feeding.Your kitten will come with sample bags of this food.

This is a legally binding document. In the breech of this agreement, the contract will be void and the buyer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and legal expenses that is allowed by law and incurred by seller in enforcing seller rights under this agreement. If legal proceedings become necessary, the buyer agrees that all legal and/or court proceedings take place in the state/county which the seller resides.

Keep in mind that new kittens may show signs of stress including sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, diarrhea, or constipation when brought into a new environment.
